Guelph United L2 Women blanked by Burlington
Guelph United FC dropped a 2-0 decision to Burlington SC Wednesday night in League1 Ontario League2 women’s play at the Gryphons Soccer Complex.
Burlington scored late in each half for the victory.
Aya Naamani scored in the 44th minute while Cristina Ciofani tallied in the 83rd minute in the card-free game.
Shaelyn Mitchell had the shutout for Burlington.
Next game for United is set for May 12 at Victoria Park in Brampton against ProStars FC. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
