Guelph United L2 women blanked by Prostars

Guelph United yielded three goals in an eight-minute span midway through the first half in a 5-0 loss to Prostars FC in League1 Ontario League 2 women’s soccer play Sunday at Brampton’s Victoria Park.

Faith Akinkuade opened and closed the three-goal outburst while Sage Thomas-Roberts had the middle goal of the trio.

Alexia Ntakos and Thomas-Roberts scored six minutes apart in the second half to complete the scoring.

Jenna Taghikhani had the shutout for Prostars.
