Guelph United Premier Men edged by Burlington SC

Guelph United surrendered a goal early in the second half as they dropped their League1 Ontario Men’s Premier soccer ‘home’ opener 1-0 to Burlington SC Saturday at Cambridge’s Oriental Sport Club’s field.

Augustus Oku scored the lone goal in the eighth minute of the second half.

Burlington’s Erik Hermanns had the clean sheet while Michael McPherson was in net for United.
