Guelph United U19s and Simcoe County in deadlock

CALEDON – Guelph United made it two ties in as many League1 Ontario Men’s U19 Reserve soccer play Thursday when they battled the Simcoe County Rovers to a 2-2 standoff at The Hill Academy.

Scoring details were not available.

Guelph United had opened their season with a scoreless tie with Cambridge United on the Jacob Hespeler turf field May 5.

Jake Findlay had the shutout for Guelph while Samuel Schafer had the clean sheet for Cambridge.

Guelph United is to host St. Catharines Roma in their home opener Thursday at Alumni Stadium. Game time is 9:15 p.m.
