Guelph United U20 men blank St. Catharines Roma

Guelph United scored twice in each half to blank St. Catharines Roma 4-0 in League1 Ontario U20 men’s soccer play Saturday at Eastview Park.

Kyler Monterroso scored the first-half goals as he connected in the sixth and 41^st minutes.

Kyan Resendes (58^th minute) and Christopher Qushair (82^nd minute) struck for the second-half goals.

Anthony Arruda had the clean sheet in the United net.

The result leaves United at 1-1-0 (W-L-T) and St. Catharines at 0-1-1.

United is to play Rush Canada Academy (0-1-1) Thursday at 9 p.m. at Eastview Park.
