HEADS United U21 women downed by Burlington

HILLSBURGH – HEADS United suffered a 4-1 loss to the Burlington Bayhawks in their Ontario Women’s Soccer League South Region U21 season opener Wednesday night at Barbour Field.

Dakota Poulter scored the lone goal for HEADS.

Sierra Depass had two goals for Burlington while Mia Rodgers and Lauren Bye added single goals.

The game was the first of three consecutive home games to start the season for HEADS United.

They’re to host Ancaster Legacy FC June 1 and Cambridge United June 6. Both games carry 9 p.m. starting times.
