Hoops Gryphons split preseason twinbill with Bishop’s

BROCKVILLE – The Guelph Gryphons split their OUA basketball preseason openers as they had a pair of games against the Bishop’s Gaiters at Brockville CI Saturday.

The Gryphon women defeated Bishop’s 73-63 in the doubleheader opener.

The Gaiters downed the Gryphon men 89-83 in the second game.

Details from the games were not available.

The Gryphon men are to play the Humber College Hawks at Humber’s North Campus Gym Tuesday at 7 p.m., Concordia Stingers at the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre at 7 p.m. and Memorial Sea-Hawks at the GGAC Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Gryphon women are to play preseason games at the GGAC Saturday at 6 p.m. against Humber and Sunday at 1 p.m. against Memorial.
