Ross picks up second win of week in girls’ hockey play

GUELPH – The Ross Royals struck for their second win of the week in District 10 high school girls’ hockey play Thursday as they blanked the Centennial Spartans 3-0 at the Victoria Road arena.

They had defeated the Orangeville Bears in the league opener Monday.

Thursday, Taylor Meredith recorded the shutout.

Josie Meredith scored twice while Tru Hodge had the game’s other goal. Collecting one assist apiece were Adiah VanEngen, Emma Collier, Annabelle Docksteader and Kiera Bennett.
