Guelph Silvercreeks gain victory as win taken from Kitchener

The Guelph Silvercreeks suffered an Inter-County Baseball Association 22U loss on the field at Hastings Stadium, but were awarded the win as the Kitchener Junior Panthers used an illegal player.

Kitchener had won the game 10-6 Wednesday, but had the victory overturned with Guelph being credited with a 7-0 triumph.

Rockwood FC gets shutout win over Junior Gryphs in OWSL South West Region U21

Rockwood FC blanked the Guelph Junior Gryphons 3-0 in Ontario Women’s Soccer League South West Region U21 play Thursday at Marden Park.

Madison Lawson, Marina Kycia and Leah Panariti had a goal apiece for Rockwood.

Isabella Chianta picked up the shutout.

HEADS United blanked by AIFC in OWSL South West Region U21

HEADS United suffered a 3-0 loss to AIFC in Ontario Women’s Soccer League South West Region U21 play Tuesday at Barbour Field.

Isabella Baldassarra, Azaria Fagan and Sabrina Bigler had a goal apiece for AIFC while Avery Donnelly had the clean sheet.

Junior Gryphons, Brams United in OWSL Provincial deadlock

Guelph Junior Gryphons and Brams United Black battled to a 1-1 standoff in Ontario Women’s Soccer League Provincial play Thursday at Brampton’s Victoria Park.

Laura Marrelli had the goal for the Junior Gryphs while Melissa Rasile scored for Brams United.

Rockwood FC split pair of games in OWSL South Region

Rockwood FC blanked the SC Toronto Eagles 2-0 in Ontario Women’s Soccer League South Region play Monday at Earlscourt Park.

Alexandra Zonneveld and Alisa Cogan had a goal apiece for Rockwood.

Helena Coimbra recorded the clean sheet.

Rockwood was also dropped 7-1 by SSC in league play Wednesday at Marden Park.

Emma Vono and Emily Walraven scored twice each for SSC while single goals were added by Bernarda Torres, Aliya Cardona and Alyssa Glasbergen.

Lily Campbell scored for Rockwood.

Guelph Royals nip Clarkson in OSL Regional West

Guelph Royals slipped by Clarkson SC 2-1 in Ontario Soccer League Regional West play Thursday at Centennial Bowl.

Maik Schoonderwoerd and Lucio Campora collected a goal apiece for the locals.

Luke Sewell scored for Clarkson.
