
Three-way knot atop senior volleyball standings
GUELPH – The District 10 high school senior boys’ volleyball league reached the midway point of its regular season with three teams tied for first place — Centennial Spartans, Lourdes Crusaders and Ross Royals.
They’re all at 6-1 and are followed by the Guelph CVI Green Gaels (4-3), Centre Wellington Falcons (3-4), St. James Lions (2-5), Bishop Macdonell Celtics (1-6) and Orangeville Bears (0-7).
Centennial is to play Ross Oct. 19, Ross is to play Lourdes Oct. 24 and Lourdes is to play Centennial Oct. 31.

There’s a three-way tie in junior, too, but it’s for sixth place.
Centre Wellington leads at 7-0 while Centennial’s at 6-1, Ross is at 5-2, Lourdes is at 4-3, Orangeville’s at 3-4 and Bishop Mac, GCVI and St. James are all at 1-6.
