United Premier Women blanked in league-opening match
Guelph United surrendered a single goal in each half as they began their League1 Ontario Women’s Premier soccer season with a 2-0 loss to NDC Ontario Friday night at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Woodbridge.
Bryana Gaynor scored in the 26th minute and Mikayla Coore-Pascal added the other goal in the 57th minute.
Sofia Cortes Browne picked up the clean sheet for NDC Ontario.
Next game for United is scheduled for May 5 when they’re to play Vaughan Azzurri at Vaughan’s North Maple Field. Game time is 4 p.m.
