Westside keeps unbeaten mark in senior girls’ hoops

ORANGEVILLE – The Westside Thunder remained unbeaten in District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball as they connected for their fourth win in as many outings, a 32-15 triumph over the Wellington Heights Wolverines Thursday on their home court.

Burnside led Westside with 14 points while Bigler added nine.

VanVeen had seven for Wellington Heights.

The game was the lone one in the league Thursday.

Emmanuel Christian Eagles are second in the standings at 3-1 while the Erin Raiders are at 2-1, Centre Dufferin Royals are at 2-2, Wellington Heights is at 0-3 and Norwell Varsity Reds are at 0-4.
