Westside Thunder gets another slim win in senior hoops

ORANGEVILLE – The Westside Thunder struck for another win in a close District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball match Monday as they edged the Emmanuel Christian Eagles 31-25.

C. McClean had eight points for Westside, the same total H. Thalen had for Emmanuel Christian.

Centre Dufferin 37 Norwell 8

T. Bosiljevac led Centre Dufferin with nine points while C. Daly added eight.

A. Pepper and S. Zemmelink each had two points for Norwell.

Junior Girls’ Basketball

Erin 36 Wellington Heights 6

M. Mursalin and M. O’Reilly hit for six points apiece for Erin.

M. Zmija had four for Wellington Heights.
