Westside Thunder grab first in senior girls’ basketball

ORANGEVILLE – Westside Thunder stand atop the District 4 high school senior girls’ basketball standings following a 39-32 victory over the Erin Raiders on their home court Friday.

Olivia Wesley had 11 points for Westside while C. McLean followed with 10.

Kendra Swanzey had 19 for Erin while Abi White netted six.

Westside leads the six-team league at 7-1 while the Emmanuel Christian Eagles are second at 6-2. Centre Dufferin Royals are next at 4-2 and are followed by Erin at 3-5, Norwell at 2-6 and Wellington Heights Wolverines at 0-6.
